A 4"x6" oil painting of Texas wildflowers.
This is painted from a picture I took in my backyard of Cedar Park, Tx. Having grown up amidst wildflower country, I was always fascinated by the intricate details and colors of Texas flowers, but only in recent years have my artistic skills been refined enough to portray their beauty.
A special 2"x5" gouache painting of the Caney River in Tennessee. The photo referenced in this painting was taken on a journey across the Eastern United States. It was a random and momentary glance over a highway bridge that made me turn off and find a spot to view the mist over the river.
A tiny 3"x3" oil painting of clouds. Just clouds. The majority of my camera roll is pictures of pretty clouds, so I have my muse. They always told us to create for ourselves first, and others second. So I liked painting these clouds.
An uncharacteristically large 24"x32" commission - oil painting on canvas panel. One of the greatest challenges I undertook, but a true testament to growing pains and advancing in skill. It's that piece to which I say, "I'm very proud, but I still could have done better here, here, and here."
A sketchbook doodle in a 3"x5" journal. Image is one overlooking the rolling hills of Central Texas near Leander, glowing with an iconic golden Texas sunset.
